'70 Boss 302 Stripes on an '05 Ranger Edge?
At the very minimum I would do a 2/3 drop with the 17s. The 2/3 drop won't decrease your load carrying capacity,will make the truck handle better,and will lower your centre of gravity,which in the winter with 2wd, is WAY better. Plus the wheels won't look rediculous either. I would put a slightly lower profile tire on it because big balloon all season tires suck for performance and handling.

but you don't lower trucks lol thats what cars are for.. trucks are ment to stay average height or be raised.. lol i love how the stance she has right now tall enough to think its a big truck but not so high that u think ur in a damn semi
I'm all for lowered trucks...had my old Mazda in Minitruckin Magazine last year.
2wd = slam it. 4wd = jack it.
Stock sucks.
Green Mazda,3rd one down.

haha I take it you're from "Onterrible", we need 4x4 here where there's actually snow that lasts more than two weeks.
haha yeah but the oilers suck in the winter too... I gave up on the Oilers, we can't keep decent players. Go CANADIENS!
ummm....4.6 is the "5.0"...
umm "5.0" is a 302 cubic inch motor....."4.6" is a 281 cubic inch motor....big difference. And yes a 4.6 is BIGGER in overal motor SIZE....and they are not the same motor....block is different, heads are different, and 4.6 is SOHC...the cobra version is a DOHC.....alot different than a standard 5.0
As for the "Boss" stripe, someone will have to do a PS for you first. It sounds good, but as for the look? Maybe on a lowered drag truck. It would need to have the accessories to go along with it, like a race truck.
Mind you, it seems all the suto makers have that Boss look going on. People have them on any Mustang now, and Dodge has them on their Challengers too. When it's everywhere and on everything, it just loses something.
