84 4x4 to 2x4 swap?

I have a 84 ranger v6 4x4 that needs work. I want to swap it to 2x4 but I want to drop it on the ground so I was thinking about using Toyota or S 10 front and rear suspention setup with airbags. any suggestions of what axels I should use?

I am using my ranger because every truck you see dropped is a dime, toy or nissan. I want something not eveyone has. I am planning on swapping to 2x4 cause the drivetran is junk anyways. I'd use ford parts but seince ford used I beams up front I could never get as low as I want. so I will need to use the front setup from a dime or Toy. also it is alot cheaper going to the junkyard and pickup the few parts I need to fabricate into the ranger than it is to go buy a whole new truck.

it would be a lot of custom work to make it 4x4. you might be able to i beam swap it. key words, might. but even then it is better jut to get a 4x2

well, I am thinking of building a complete frame for it and just dropping everything on that.. I am not shure how the stock frame would hold up to a diffrent set up. it is not torsion bars like my ZR2 so I can prob lower a little but I eventually want to bag it.... I don't know never worked with a smaller ford most of my freinds having me lifting or dropping fullsize trucks. this is just something I picked up cheap specifically for this (and I can write everything off for advertisement if I bring it to a show) so if sink some cash into it no worries.

Get some Dream Beams.
The company that makes them slips my mind ATM, but you can search ebay for "dream beams" and you should find a few there.
Oh and swapping 4x4 to 4x2 will require a transmission from a 4x2 truck. Output shaft is larger on the 4x4 trans, so the shaft in the extension housing wont fit on it.
