Air Compressor

We got this really cool air compressor from Campbell Hausfeld at Lowe's and I can get it really super dirt cheap cause it's on sale and I get a discount...

Anyways. I've got an offroad trip planned for Saturday and I've got my big change jar I'm cashing in... usually about $150-$180 and I want this air compressor.

It's a "cordless/rechargeable" 1.5gal air compressor and it's got a radio...lol. You can plug it into the wall to charge and it has a 12v plug.

Oh, and it will fit behind my seat or in my bed (it's got super-strong sucker feet) and I can tie it down in my new FREE bed extender.

Discuss...

--> Oh yeah, it will be used to air up my tires after airing down for trailriding.

We need to discuss shipping for sending it to me :

I've got a onboard compressor(bags) I've been wanting to convert to general use. Be sure to write-up how well it can inflate your tires and such.

I think Home Depot (where I DONT get a discount) has the same thing. Looks like a mini quarter barrel? I thought a radio on a compressor was a bit too much but it sounds like a good plan

1.5 is kinda small..to air tires up and stuff i have 5 gallons i can air down my tires and air them back up and almost drain the tank..runnin 200 PSI..

that 1.5 runnin i dunno what PSI will take a good 2 tanks to air em back up..if you want a good air set up id get a viair compressor get a 3-5gallon and go from there

Yeah, it's the blue one... I probably won't be using the radio, you probably can't even hear it over the compressor.

I only have 31x10.50s, couldn't I just plug it up to the tire and run it? I guess I'll have to find out when I get home with it monday night. It's only gonna cost me about 60 bucks, so it's not a total loss.

Hopefully it will have enough battery power to air up 4 tires twice at most. If not I might have to buy a DC hook up and plug it into my truck and charge in between trails....

Sorry, I'm brainstorming.

i think it would be sweet just make sure you can fill all tires before relying on it out at a trail
