Not a bad idea, just use something other than diamond plate.

I would try machined aluminum personally, the diamond plate might be blinding.

That would be better. I'm not sure what material I would go with.

Diamond Plate is different, either scuff it up and use a dull finish clear over it or paint it black; otherwise make a completely new panel with AutoMeter Gauges in it.
My ’88 STX, 5.0L Ranger had a little different Gauge Setup, but similar, with Machine alum and AutoMeter gauges gives it a new look.

paint the diamond plate satin black. your gonna have to either paint/dye the panels or switch out.

another vote for painting diamond plate

and clean the floor mats lol

black interior would be sweet

What about a change in Steering Wheels, one of those covers for the opening above the Glove Box and a Hurst Shifter.
The Carpet should be dark gray instead of black, a little contrast would be a good thing and a nice set of bucket seats would be good too, w/Center Console.

Just thinking again !

x2 nice buckets and center console will really change the look

ahha ! :D thanks for the ideas guys should i do a photo guide or, a photo thingy of how it goes first is im going to get that diamond plate cut up, so it fits
