I was wondering what the difficulty of installing a manual sunroof would be. My friend has a 93 240sx and the sunroof has a handle, pops up like a spoiler, and then pops out. Could I get a salvaged roof and cut my ranger roof to fit it or anything similar?

 

I have seen mods like this done on other vehix and they never seal all the way so if you are ok with moisture do it otherwise I vote no

I'm actually planning on possibly doing this when I'm back in Minnesota. There's a guide somewhere on RPS on how to do it and it just requires basically careful work. But I think a sunroof is hella badass and you just make sure you seal that badboy up nicely!

 

there arn't any main support beans running across the top of the cab?

 

yes there is a couple of supports. I used an explorer sunroof and it worked great

 

got any pics, jake?? I'm considering using an exploder also.

 

do the new 07 or 08s come with an optional sunroof or moonroof?
i swear i saw one today that had a sunroof.
