how should I install The speakers in the back?

Heres what I'm stuck with. I got a killer deal on a new set of 6x9 speakers but I'm not sure how I should install them in the back....

you could build a set spacers ( aprox. 2" deep ) from wood covered with fiberglass. build them with a base that could be mounted to the origional hole then put the new speaker it the spacer.

straight to the frame of the cab, and use the covers to mount it to the cab. cut the covers to help them fit better
