I don't know when to stop

I need to stop adding things to my to do list

Ok, so since my left drivers vent broke I got a new one and in the process of replacing it I had an idea.

I'm going to be mounting a trans temp gauge in a column pod, but in the future I may want more gauges.

Anyway, I had an idea to mount the gauge in that vent location. I have a few pics of what I have so far, if anyone has already done this feel free to post them up

I like the concept, But now you no longer have air coming from the side vent. As long as you are okay with that go for it. You guys always seem to do great mods so I cant wait to see the end result.

Airflow on the vent is always poor, I might just block the duct where it splits to send more air to the center vents.

I guess the next step will be to figure out how to blend the vent trim on the dash so it doesn't look as hacked up

I understand completely. To help with the vent trim maybe some sand paper and bondo or fiberglass is in order? Luckily these trucks are a dime a dozen so you could get a spare from the junkyard if you wanted to practice before you used yours. Just a thought. Keep up the good work.
