Wow, those really light up the plate.

Won't you need to re-wire them each time you get a new plate though?

I've got a set of LED Skull & Crossbone bolts, but I never used them because I'd have to cut the wires every year or so when I get a new license plate.

Yes you are right, you will have to rewire for a new plate. Here in Texas we run the same plate, every year. But it might take five minutes to rewire two wires. It is worth it to me. Or you could just wire in a small connector for a quicker plate swap.

Look ok from my house but do not use just the LED Bolts to hold the Plate on. Minimum weight but just the shearing force on the threaded, weakest part of the bolt when you hit a bump.

Luck,

Thanks for the kind words Nicky, we need your dub dueces. The LED bolts are 5/16'' very stout and I have double sided tape installed also to cut down on the vibrations. I raised the front suspension and the plate hit the ground and moved the rollpan, thats why I curved the plate.

With your stock incandesent you could just disconnect them and wire in your new bolts. That way you would not have holes in your roll pan.

In Texas you are required to have plate lights by the way. I am planning on making some stand off spacers, to help spread out the light. The one of the left needs to be tweeked over to the right a fuzz. I will get them dialed this weekend. The pictures turned out real crappy, its raining outside right now. Cheers gentlemen it is beer thirty!

u changed my mind of lifting my truck more pics please

Dont' know if it matters anymore, but I used these for my roll-pan on my Ranger a few years ago. No idea if they still work because the truck hasn't moved in 3 years but they worked great, as opposed to cutting out a chunk of rollpan to mount my OEM lights like it recommended.
