alright, there is a guy that goes by the screen name buggman on this site. He sells LED set ups without the lights, and as well does LED's with the lights you just bolt in.

His stuff is second to none so ive heard and seen and the prices are pretty sweet as well.

heres a thread showing off his work: https://www.ranger-forums.com/vehicl...read**-134875/

and here is his profile: Ford Ranger Forums - The Ultimate Ford Ranger Resource - View Profile: buggman

But if youre the super DIY type and want to do this project yourself then look up a site called superbrightled.com they have our exact instrument cluster bulbs in LED form, so you just have to disassemble and install and reassemble.
LED Lights, Bulbs & Accessories - SUPER BRIGHT LEDS

and for the tear down, heres the thread: https://www.ranger-forums.com/interi...-lights-65263/

I don't know if they have done custom 1st gen clusters, but you may just be able to swap out bulbs. check superbrightleds.com

you will probably have to pull the bulb to see what you have.

If behind the dash, you have something that looks like this:

You need to do this.

and replace it with this.

For reference. They are T-10 or 194 bulbs. That one came out of my OHC.
My LED's are from Buggman.

Most of the gauge clusters from 03 back will use the 5smd T10 base led's like STXDangerRanger showed.

The quantity will differ depending on the year of the truck. For the pre-94 trucks I'm honestly not sure how many there are, but if you have the dash apart, just count all the bulb holders that are that size & change 'em all to make sure you get 'em all.

As mentioned before, I have led's for pretty much any application inside or out. I'm proud to say that several of the members here are using my led's.

The ones i have pictured are actually Terry's. Haven't had a problem with the T-5's and the one thing i did have a small issue with, he fixed right away.
