I was thinking about putting an led ring around the front symbol. I'll attach a pic of the front of my truck with the current lighting and let me know what ya'll think

I'd have to see it to give you an opinion.
It might look good, considering your current setup.

I think a low back glow could be cool but too bright wouldn't look right.

Be Carefull installing any red lights on the front of you truck. Had a friend get nailed by the fuzz for having the red scrolling lights up by his hood scoop. They told him that he looked like he was impersonating a peace officer.

I have installed them, i couldnt figure out how to get the desired look around the logo so i improvised. I set them up so there is an ominous almost evil but still super sexy glow in the grill. in my opinion it wrapped together the lighting set up. The ford logo is the only thing that doesnt have light glowing through it and it looks soo good. im proud of the work i did. And yah man i know ive gotten pulled over plenty of times, in texas you can have them as long as they arent flashing and you can see the bulb. I only get stopped by small town cops with nothing better to do

yeah i messed over by the cops. i put red led lights in the turn signals, in my 02 ranger, and even with my 10k hid lights you can still see them and i got a 179 dollars ticket for imprecating a peace officer... so i wouldnt do that and i live in orange county so there might be more cops where i live

Be careful in texas. As long as blue lights aren't flashing you're okay under the Texas vehicle code, but its technically a felony for impersonating an officer for having any blue light on road.

But as long as you can prove that you're okay under the vehicle code you should be fine. usually they won't do the whole impersonating thing as its a lot of paperwork.
