More Light Behind the truck.

Well I added the Superduty TBL and Cargo And i like the light added to the bed. I currently hooked it up to the dome light... I would like to run a separate wire and use a relay and switch for the Cargo light... Also i would like to have light behind the truck as well so along with the cargo light being hooked to the switch and relay i am going to hook a separate wire from the relay to the reverse light positive wires and t-tap it into it so the reverse lights will work normal but can be turned on with the truck off along with the cargos...

A little wiring but it should be an interesting little Saturday project.

I got the idea from how the GMs reverse lights illuminate when the dome is on... Plus i like the extra light behind me when using the truck at night.

I like the function of what GM's lights do, but I hate it when I'm going through a parking lot and they are on and I'm looking for a place to park. Hook up a set of lights under the bumper or mold some into the bumper.

my suggestion, use a diode so that the flow from the reverse-reverse lights, don't tunr your cargo lamp on... or on second thought... would you want that light to give you more back up lighting when in reverse?

You know....you've already got the circuits relayed already. I wonder if you can just run the BLK/PNK wire from the reverse lamps up to the TBL BLK/PNK wire. But I worry, if you do that, you may have that dome light turn on when you shift into reverse. That'll be funky! lol.

DIODE!

installing a diode to allow the flow from the dome light to the reverse lights will eliminate that problem...
