So I am plainning a new major mod for the end of this month. I'v got it narrowed down to three things. This is where yall come in. I need help deciding between the three. They are all going to happen eventually but I want all of yall's opinion on which to do first. So here they are.

1. New Shocks

I am looking to buy some 14" 2.5" King Smooth Body's for the rear of my truck.

http://www.kingshocks.com/shocks.htm

2. New Wheels

I think its getting time to get some new wheels since my stockers are getting old, and possibly tires.

or

3. New Seats

My driver seat sucks and is broken. So I figure its a good reason to get some suspension seats.

or PRP's

Go Vote! Let me know what I should buy!

Okay, I voted first, lol! (but Christian POSTED first)

I'm big into FUNCTIONAL and I think the most functional upgrade would be the suspension, followed by wheels if you have any wheel problems like I did (wheels too narrow) and finally the seats.

But all three are VERY attractive options.

I don't like teflon wheels for offroading. Rocks, stones, and harder tree bark do not qualify as "plastic utensils". You know that Teflon is NOT hard or particularly well-bonded to the metal surface. It will scratch and scrape off VERY easily. I predict most of those wheels will not look so good in a year or two and you can't "polish out" teflon.

Just my .02

I agree with John. Shocks are probably the cheapest upgrade, so you can have a few pizza's too! :) Seats are a 2nd, because if your current seats giving you problems, that could get real annoying, real quick. So go with the most functional mod first, then looks 2nd.

Thats a good one... I guess you dont know how much those shocks actually run. I'm lookin between 300-500 per shock! The ones in the pic are 300 a piece. If I get crazy and so some dual bypass shocks it will be closer to 500.

Here's a Triple bypass, take off one of the Blue tubes and you'v got a dual bypass.

Didn't we offer opionions already? I guess some folks must not care -- but some of us did vote/post.

Besides, what does it matter what WE think -- what do YOU want the most? :)

And I thank you for that John, Christian and Michael... what does it matter? This is such a large purchase I'd like to get some unbiased opinions. Hell everybody has an opinion. Like you said, go functional. Maybe somebody else thinks I should get something cosmetic. Maybe somebody will say something insightfull that will make me change my mind. But as it may seem with all the views and not even near as many votes its pretty apparnt that people here dont care about that stuff. But if I were to ask how my should be moded or post a pic of my dog I'd have tons of post in a little amount of time. Now I do admit that in the amount of time this has been up, 10 hours I think I shouldnt be exptecting too much. But with the number of hits vs. the number of votes I wonder. Heck it only takes two clikes to vote. Oh well, I'm done.

haha, i'm going to be different here and say new seats, since you said the stock ones are broken, a wreck wouldn't be too fun.., mabey im being too practical tho or if the stocker seats are bearable and not "too" broken get some wheels.

Just ordered some pinion angle shims/wedges

i would go with the seats if they make it uncomfortable to drive...if not then id go with the shocks....or if you want to go on a forced weight loss program blow all your money and buy them all :D

11 votes now for wheels. ^_^ OK I think those last wheels are the best on the market, the Teflon coating is like 3-4 year project. Those are the same ones I would like to buy one day.
