Yeah, I've got missed responses from buddies with yellow lights. Some say they get pulled over because of them and some say cops like em.

I dont see why yellow would be illegal for a headlight because you can drive in the daytime with no lights on and just have your yellow fog lights on and that is completely legal. So what's the deal?

Yellow is safe and attracts attention as well. It's a legal colour, as your turn signals are yellow, and some are white.

Yellow FTW.
