Prerunner Flairs and Bedside Opinions please
Well I found this link today and the guy is right here in town I was thinking about taking a look at them and seeing what all it entails to install them on my rig.

I know I would have to paint them but my questions are as follows...
1) Would I still be able to use my shell on my bed?
2) What should I offer the guy if I do indeed think about getting them?
3) How much would this change the look of my truck and what size tires would I have to go with?
Thanks all I do value your opinions good or bad

1.) by shell what do you mean? you have to cut the bedsides off and use the new ones by bolting them down. you still use the floor and the front ( as towards the cab) the tailgate i am unsure about.
2.) 450 is probably an already good price for all 4 if anything maybe try 350-400
3.) it will change the look of your truck significantly, tire size depends you could probably go anywhere from 33-36" tires depending on what you do with your truck and the backspacing of your wheels
If you go offroading in the woods i would advise against them since they are fiberglass and are prone to cracking easily when pushed upon. if you want them for the look factor and bigger tires then sure go for them but you will more than likely need a bigger offset wheel so you can run larger tires and they wont rub.
that is my opinion on them

I would want them to set the truck off make it way different ya know something you hardly ever see esp around here where prerunners are rare
dude, build a long travel truck then! Theres a lot of "poser" pre runner trucks in southern California. Guys put a lift on the front (spindle lift or whatever) and dont do anything to the rear (maybe even lower the rear!). Then they get fender flares and a tube bumper. I just think it looks funny.
heres a pretty good kit, most off road fab shops can custom build something like this as well:

IMO, if you dont have the travel that requires fiberglass fenders, its just poser.

We will see what happens they hadnt even crossed my mind till I saw these for a good deal and I prob wont get them because I doubt he will go for 300 bucks plus I got to many other mods in the progress to get side tracked with this lol
hey dude, I am in colorado and I have some 3 inch flare fenders that would look better than 6 inch. they have slight shipping damage(a little time with some fiberglass and they would be perfect), but I will sell them both to you for 150.
