i found the good hood single and double scoops, but their not functional and i can't find any pictures of them on a ranger. I guess modifying a ranger isn't exactly popular?

Ram air hoods are almost purely cosmetic. There is almost no market amongst Ranger owners for expensive/worthless mods.

Austin1: I almost bought that hood for my truck, but ended up going with the cobra style. Your truck looks good

hey thanks, I like your hood as well, I haven't seen one like it until now or I might have considered it as well as cowl induction.

Unless you have a carb'd V-8 and feed it directly off the ram air, it serves you no purpose, which makes it purely cosmetic, therefore, makes a ranger look bad.

i like the powerdome.. there not on every truck.. so its almost like a cowl hood.. i have one on my 99 that i got out of the junkyard and fixed up.. it changes the whole attitude of the truck, but still keeps it clean.. change up your stock hood, but dont go getting a cowl or something of the same extent

ram air and cowl induction both are worthless on rangers...they look ok but you can't make them "active" or whatever...to tap into your airbox you'd have to come up with a way to flip your airbox upside down...

2 words :

purely cosmetic...
