tow hook ideas

throwing out the idea of doing something like this for my tow hooks I would have one on the front and the rear...

How about just add a front hitch and get a d-ring receiver?

You don't have a hitch factory? I thought 07 they started putting them on all the trucks, maybe that is 08.

If it were me, I would do the D-ring style hooks. Less chance of a strap falling off, and you can pull/get pulled at better angles.

that style (in the first post) is only worthy of badass race cars.. and unless your ranger is a race car, don't do it.

I know when I ordered my truck, you had to specify if you wanted a hitch or not.

im pretty sure it was 08 that a hitch started to come standard, i had to get one for mine to.
