tranny swap

tranny swap

i was wondering if any one knows if i can convert my 94 ford ranger automatic to standerd and wat might be involved.

i'm not on here alot so this will be my only post, hope it helps. i'll make you a parts list of what i know forsure and it may be easier to find a parts truck then buy it all at a scrap yard. tranny, shifter, pedals, clutch master cylinder with reservoir, clutch slave and lines, throw out bearing, clutch disk, pressure plate, flywheel. make sure your tranny with tailstock is the same length, otherwise you will need a different length driveshaft. it will throw a check engine light! because it will think your missing a transmission. just remember that a 3L is it's own unique bolt pattern and the 4L has a few choices. good luck.
