Emergency Orange Road Triangle Marker thing-DOT approved
Recovery Strap
Recovery Shackle
One of my Surefire lights
One of my handguns-can be my Makarov 9x18mm, could be my NAA 22 WM. If I go offroading then the Rem 870 is coming along for a ride.
Same with the Hi-Lift jack
I have two hitches one with a 2 inch ball and the other gives me the option for towing a military type hitch.
ECWS Sleeping bag
Shovel
Cell Phone car charger
Current Road Atlast
If I lived in snow country I would add the following:
Emergency food and water rations.
First Aid Kit
Extra Blanket
Jump Starter Battery with Inverter
Mark

Things are different here for EMS, I'm a medic and don't even carry a jump bag...
In my truck I just have (scattered wherever it is neat and fits)
Glock and flashlight with spare mag (MUST HAVE, I just need to get a small jump bag so I can keep it more mobile, but my CCW is not here yet...it must be in the glovebox by law for right now)
(For work) clipboard, ems guide, stethescope, Class A shirt
Flashlight with charger mounted to back wall
Inverter
Jumper Cables
Tow rope behind seat
Chargers (phone/ipod)
3 pairs of sunglasses (nice, old, wal-mart special) (I live in FL...sunny sunny FL)
Jacket
and thats about it, I'm not rescue randy and I'm not about to treat patients on the scene when fire rescue avg response is 6mins for broward county :) all i can do in an accident is block the road and make the accident scene somewhat stable (i.e. turn off the car, back bystanders away, call 911, etc)
I like to keep my truck very clean and clutter free, I no longer have a toolbox, I NEVER used my stuff in it
