Ok Ive been told that the 4r44e that came in a 98 ranger is unique to that truck only a 98 will fit it. I cant for the life of me find one and well I cant afford to pay for a rebuilt one or cant afford to have my truck down while its rebuilt. Ive been driving without reverse for a week but now its shifting weird and dying a slow death. Either way any of you guys have one or know if other years will work?? I could really use some help here
