EDIT: Need 01+ I believe, got one for an older model and it does not fit due to the RCM module that sits behind the console on the 01+ (IIRC)

BUMP...got one but it didn't work...need one from an 01+

 

Why didn't it work? just curious. I might hit the junkyards this weekend, if i find one ill pick it up.

EDIT - ok i read the first post and saw why it didn't work. i get it now.

 

They moved the RCM starting with 99 they are under the cup holder. 98 they were under the ps kick panel

I saw one on eBay that is what you're looking for a couple weeks back. I just looked for it again, but apparently the listing has expired.

Did you tap new holes for the mounting plate??

FYI i went this weekend and didnt find anything good for a Ranger.

I did find a somewhat elusive 89 Mustang 140mph speedometer though. to Ebay it goes!
