"in the way"? wtf. manual shift ftw!

My whole thing is simlicity and reliability reasons...no bad switches...no bad shift motors....ALWAYS being able to put it into 4 w/o any electrical issues. And it's just plain bad *** and 'normal' back in the day.

Wrong on no bad "switches" or "shift motors".

Doesn't matter if you have a manual t-case, or an electronic one. A manual t-case can fail.

Either way, it's all about hubs for engagement. Hence why I have Warn manual hubs on the Ranger, and POSI LOCK A.D.S. (FTW) on the Dodge.

I think you are asking too much for your truck there OP, and definitely not giving enough info on it either. How many miles? Recent maintenance? Possible fouls with it?

GOD I want this truck.

I just don't have the money for it right now, and it'd cost me a bunch even if I sold my ranger.

If I didn't already have a truck payment, I would probably get this.

If it's still for sale in a few months, you may hear from me.
