Also finished part 2 of the video series, check it out if you'd like to see more of a detailed process of how it was done

Got a chance to get most of the Roll Pan I wanted to make finished. Still needs to be fitted 100% and welded in but check out the video if you want to see how it was made!

Its been a while since an update, but I ended up finding a engine to swap into the ranger eventually. Super happy I found a Gen 3 aluminum vortec/ls engine out of a Gmc Envoy. I made a video with more of the details below

Looks great! Glad to a steel version rather than fiberglass.

Well its been a while but I've been trying to make progress when I can. Most recently I C-notched the frame to gain a little more clearance in the back since lowering it. I also welded up the bed stake pockets and and the little holes behind the flares. I made a video of the C-notch that I will post once I finish editting but here a picture of how it ended up

No welding expert here, but looks to be strong metal & a neat "stack-o-dimes".
Always enjoy seeing details of good workmanship.

Thanks Dillard, I'm still a pretty amateur welder but I think she`ll hold fine

Anyways, heres the video somewhat showing the process, enjoy!

Its been another little while since the last update and since then Ive completed an Explorer 8.8 rear end swap. Its a 3.73 LSD diff with disc brakes so its quite an upgrade from the stock 7.5 drum brake rear end. Ive documented the whole process on my youtube channel if anyone is interested.

I'll definitely check it out as I contemplate doing the same on my 2002.
