07 "pre runner"

well matt informed me last night that i dont have updated pictures of my truck, and he was suprised when i told him it is already caged ha.

run down on the truck, and how it is at the current state.

Blitz mid travel up front.
F31 Deavers, Kartek shackle hangers, Blitz shackles
2.5 16" FOA shocks
caged firewall back with 1.75 .120 DOM

Shane(cant remember user name) is going to be buying my front end from me when i get back to california.
I am putting on a Blitzkrieg Full long travel kit with dana 35 hubs.*will switch to a dana 44 or 2" hub later*

should be throwing a 32 gallon fuel cell out back soon after or when the LT kit goes on.

going to run a 2.5 10" dual rate coil over up front, later will add a triple bypass for even more tuning capabilities.

out back will get 3 linked with a full floater 9" running 16" coil overs, and 16" or 18" bypass shocks.

a/c is getting pulled, custom dash will be built out of .060 aircraft grade aluminum, door panels also.

when it comes time to 3 link it, the truck is getting back halfed.
c4 transmission will be swapped in, and some head work will be done.

truck will end up on 35" tires, 15 or 17" rims, and 5.00 gears in the 3rd member.

hopefully be purchasing a dodge 2500 towards the end of the year for a DD and the ranger will be mainly off road only....

haha, i just wish i had bedsides! i am going to be redoing half of the bedcage soon, not happy how its looking, when that time comes, ill mount some bedsides, notch the frame and probably call it a day for a couple months and focus on paying bills and buying a new truck.

hopefully wil get 3 linked within the next year.

too damn much, once it is all said and done.

but it makes me happy to build trucks, so money isnt that big of a deal as far as how much i have invested... only live once, and im able to build it, so why not.

ha atleast you have the sport, which is the same as the edge and what not. i wish i would have started with an edge and not XLT...

oh well, next truck i build is going to be all custom suspension, might as well use the GI Bill and go back to school for engineering and practice CAD drawings and design a suspension setup

is your cab solid mounted? I saw the dimpled plates on the Apillar to the cab, so im guessing it is.

im still running factory body mounts, but the cab is tied in to the cage in multiple spots so i could remove the body mounts and the cab would "float"

dimple died plate will be added below the rear window, and along the floor board once i remount my seats.

dude you must hate driving that thing since the cab must smack the cage all the time.

just out of querosity why would you not jsut do a full tube rear end like beard, if you went threw all that work to do the tube work in the back like you did would it not be much more work to just do a full tube rear.

last time i saw it was before you left texas, had the bed on it.. had just did the shackle flip.. then i saw pics of the broke *** wheel. besides that nothing.

I need to come out to Cali to ride with you and Jason at some point. What kind of seats are those?

Did you do the cage?

seats are twisted stitch. and i would 100% reccomend these guys to anyone, GREAT customer service through emails, phone, and face to face.

the rear will get cut off later down the road, if i did it now, i would have to link it (2500 rear end, 1800 bucks for the 3 link, 900 for coil overs, and 500 for a fuel cell) or make custom leaf spring mounts off a tube chassis which is not worth the headache.

it is actually not that noisey in the cab other than road noise... ocassional squeak, once i weld the cage to the sheet metal in even more places it wont move at all.

if i could have done it over again, i would have built an older truck and bought a tow rig off the bat, but i didnt, and im having a blast!
