LT process starts this coming friday.

what is going to get done in the next 2 weeks is
install solid motor mounts
Blitz Long travel
engine cage
remove metal inner fenders, core support, a/c, heater

may end up runing a 2.0 coil over with very minimal valving in it, and a 3.0 triple or quad bypass, with the air bump off the upper arm.

going to do some research on that setup to figure out oil volumes and do some calling to shock companies to figure out if their internals will hold up to constant abuse and not have to rebuild each race, or trip

ha i cant wait for it to be done too!

due to money constraints, i may just run a single 3.0 coil over and my 2.0 bump stops and call it a day.

ABS is getting pulled off, master cyclinder is getting put a a 90* from original location for clearance reasons.
may cut wiring harness and put all computer and fuse box components inside the cab.

basically the truck will not be a street truck any more within the next 6 months

all a/c and heater components are getting removed...

the truck is going to be a 1500 truck, and if all goes alright, MAY try to get it ready for a race in febuary

ya, not sure on THIS weekends progress since i didnt make it down to bako, but the drivers side is plated up except for the bottom plate and angled plate.

passengers side upper arm gussest were cut off.

tear down of inner fenders and engine components will start this week i think, this coming weekend ill be down rippin **** out and gettin ready for the engine cage.

going to swap my calipers for new ones from autozone or kragen(just for piece of mind) all new bearings and slotted rotors.

later down the line(january is likely time frame)
the whole back part of the cage is getting redone to accept a whole new rear suspension setup... not linked like origanally thought of. but will be *****in none the less.

oh, and a custom made intake will be built, 2.5 or 3.0 tubing and an inclosed filter.

cage is going to be tied into the cab even more, seat belts re mounted, make an X in with the door bars and a removeable top bar at window level to bolt up window nets.
