but it all depends on where mike decides to take the engine cage when he tie into the cab cage.

now THATS cool! I've never even thought about doing that for clearance reasons let alone seen it.

must be a photo bucket picture because i see red X's on the work computers.

as of right now we are going to run a cnc brake setup, may switch it around, but next pay check i am going to fork out the $$ for the dang dual rate 10" coil overs.
so october should be a month of putting together the engine cage and some other "stuff"

if anyone wants to buy some deaver f-31s that have been re arched by deaver and added an 8th leaf, blitz shakles, a 8.8 rear end with 4.30 gears, factory lsd and MAC diff cover, or 16" 2.5 FOA's all that is for sale.... also the part of the cage is for sale. re doing the rear cage to accept 18" quad bypass shocks and a new tire setup an fuel cell

have not seen the truck in about 3 weeks, going to lay out the engine cage next weekend and start cycling the front end with the coil overs in place.

goal is to get the main tubes layed out and both sides of the suspension bolted on with all new hardware. relocate battery out back and cut about 5" off each side of the bumper.

i may attempt to make a mold of my hood out of fiberglass and run that hood for a while if it comes out good, dont realy want to put hood pins in the factory hood

weekends progress...

drivers side inner fender removed, all interior dash remains have been removed.
ALL A/C minus compressor are removed
core support removed
tubular core support tacked into place. passenger outside main tube that ties into a pillar and tube core support mocked up.

bummped and drooped passenger side with a 10" triple bypass shock. with old shock tabs on lower, used 8" of shock. mounts will be kicked out towards the wheel more to use more shock and better dampening.

will be running FOA coil over and 2 tube bypass up front. since i cannot afford to buy new "big name" shocks now, and there are no 10" 2.5s for sale used

you might have answered this already but are you going with a one piece front end or are you just gonna build hangers of the engine cage?

thought about it, but i am removing it. i will have only the nessecary things on the motor. going with dual 10" e-fans so the fan off the crank will be pulled also. i am wondering how much power all that will free up.

Today i FINALLY made my decision on shocks and ordered some other parts.
ordered all my shock tabs, new bump cans, bump can brackets, and tube couplers for the removeable cross member in the engine bay.
and i ordered 10" 2.5 FOX Coil Over and 10" 2.5 3-tube FOX bypass.
just ordered one side for mock up purposes and will order my second coil over later in november. not sure on what spring rates i will be running yet tho.
