UPDATE: Once i got the truck home, i assesed the damage. Wasn't as bad as first thought. One of the rear drums stuck, cause me to hit the gaurdrail, the only damage was that it bent a wheel, and blew the seal on the steering box.. So now im going to be re-building the steering box and swapping out the bent wheel for a new one. Truck will be fine after that. Now that i'm having to pay for a large chunk of my college I have little money and no time to wheel, so Im going to be looking to sell it. ill be making a for sale thread for it soon, PM me if anyone is interested.
NOOOOO!! You're truck is a fav of mine. So badass man, built to wheel, yet you still daily drive it!
Is it around here in Corvallis?? I haven't seen it in forever....
hopefully someone on here will buy it, too awesome to just let it out in the wild...lul.

YOO!! whatsup RF. Its been awhile. After being away from the rig for quite sometime, I've come to appreciate the beast for what it is.. It definitely needs some TLC and some hard work to get back on the road. Im planning on re-building the rear axle with a possible disc brake swap, and re-doing some of the front suspension.
Nonetheless, I just wanna get it back on the road/trails and have some fun with it!
Took apart the rear axle today, found and exploded inner wheel bearing on the driver side. Got a bunch of parts, bearing, races, cups, and seals. Will hopefully get it all back together by tomorrow night.
Heres a picture of the rear assembly pulled apart. As you can see with the full float rear axle, there is a hub floating on a large spindle with inner and outer wheel bearings.

another pic of the replacement parts.

Got the rear-end put back together, now I need to get my disc brake swap on the move.
New Steering box and steering coupler.

Re-did the steering stabilizer.

And a pick from the rear.

Should have it back on the road this week sometime

Worked on the rig some mo! Triangulation of the rear shock absorbers took place tonight. Took a 1.5 Diameter tube, welded it between the frame rails, then put shock tabs in the center. Ran the shocks down to the axle at a 38 degree angle and attached to mounts on the axle. BOOM. Rear shocks done! It drives 100X better than without rear shocks. duh!
ill try to get pics of the mount later. but for now!
