my parents are selling it... its a big complicated mess right now. over the past 4 years i have been making the mistake of putting money into a vehicle that i dont own... my situation now with insurance and possession of the title has gotten messy and is not working... anyways. my parents are selling it to pay for college and re-fuse to sell it to me because they dont agree with my intentions with it.

i am the one that wants to sell it... i cant take risk going back to school and leaving the truck here with the chance of them selling it... i have to secure my investment by selling it myself and taking the money... however i am working on a plan right now. to "sell" it to someone my parents dont know and buy it back from them when i can..

now that its mine, ive gotten back into working on it the past couple of days.. sort of finishing it up!! When i finished the swap the rear end was sitting 2-3 inches lower than the front so Im still trying to work that out..
i welded in my shock hoops and painted the frame with flat black paint (97 cents at home depot)
i also painted up the front and rear axles and any other welds that were exposed.
quick pic with some lights, you can see the butt draggin a little!
then i painted the wheels black and got some properly fitting lug nuts, i wasnt to fond of the chrome at first, but its all they had, however i feel like it puts a nice touch on it?!
i also re-bobbed the bed a little shorter, so in total its about 12 inches shorter!!
then i managed to peel off the rest of the glue/residue left by the old rocker trim plastic pieces. SO here is how it sits now, i took out my overloads in the front to lower the front down, its about where i want it in the front, now i just need to get that back end up another 2 inches or so.
