still waiting for the guy to pick up my axles. so i cant by my front 60 until they are gone.. meaning no work on the front end yet.. so my boredom has led me to deal with the twisted piece of sheet metal i call my bed.. measured it up and taped off the lines to cut.. dovetailiing it about 12 inches... im also looking into bobbing it 4-6 inches to shorten things up out back.. work will continue in the morning.
nice I always think about bobin my bed but its to new and my daily driver and I use the bed alot...lol
so i have been thinking fiberglass and small dove tail, just enough that I can use a stepside tailgate

after doing some reading, im definantly going to bob (only 4-6 inches) it first before i dovetail it.. so tommorow i will start on that.. the plan im thinking is to hack it up, tack the bob together, then hack it up again for the dovetail and tack it all together.. then get 6013 rod for the welder to finish it.
damn i had a hard time even looking for the scooter when he mentioned it.. i was looking at the background!
looking good! perfect size anyshorted it wouldave look odd with the shackles hangind outside the truck... u cutting the excess frame?
