speaking of flares. this brings me to another project coming up... i kinda wanna spill the beans but another part of me wants to keep it a secret.. im ditching the flares all together, i have another idea for covering the wheels... i kinda wanna dovetail it too..

still waiting for the guy to pick up my axles. so i cant by my front 60 until they are gone.. meaning no work on the front end yet.. so my boredom has led me to deal with the twisted piece of sheet metal i call my bed.. measured it up and taped off the lines to cut.. dovetailiing it about 12 inches... im also looking into bobbing it 4-6 inches to shorten things up out back.. work will continue in the morning.

nice I always think about bobin my bed but its to new and my daily driver and I use the bed alot...lol
so i have been thinking fiberglass and small dove tail, just enough that I can use a stepside tailgate

after doing some reading, im definantly going to bob (only 4-6 inches) it first before i dovetail it.. so tommorow i will start on that.. the plan im thinking is to hack it up, tack the bob together, then hack it up again for the dovetail and tack it all together.. then get 6013 rod for the welder to finish it.

im so stuck on weather to bob a bed or not....i love my steppie.......and i wanna bobbed bed with a shorter wheel base....oh the options....

Well actually it sucks your springs are so long. Cause it would of looked good a few inches less, but your rear shackles would be outside the bed...

damn i had a hard time even looking for the scooter when he mentioned it.. i was looking at the background!

looking good! perfect size anyshorted it wouldave look odd with the shackles hangind outside the truck... u cutting the excess frame?

bobbed it 8 inches... however i dont like the way the bed and rear bumper turned out, so im gona take out another inch and do the whole thing again... ill post up pics of it after i re-do it.

took the cab portion of the BL off today.. DDDAAAMMM ITS LOW!! probalby 3 inches of lift in the rear and 4 inches in the front total + on fullwidths and 35s = STUPID STABLE!!

mmhhmm.. the new axles are going to be 4 inches wider! i think im gona try for a couple more inches of lift, but definantly more fender cutting...

today i think ill make some leaf hangers for the front...
