a little bit of progress besides moving the truck into the driveway.... had a little time before work so i decided the truck needed a facelift, pulled apart the front clip. cleaned everything, put my stock orange corners on cause my clears are shattered. then took and painted the grill gloss black (trying a new look out).. i like it so far,

then after work i got a little something delivered to my driveway by a friend!!
..
havent had time to test her out yet! im going to pick up some new electrodes and a new 220 plug in the AM... Then ill venture out to the steel yard to start fabbing the front crossmember.

Got the right side done today, took the overload out of the packs... cut off leaf hanger and moved it forward. welded it in.. im using E6011 electrodes... no 6011 doesnt lay the prettiest beads, but damm are they strong, i mean ridiculously strong!! then threw some black paint on em. im doing little chunks each day, taking my time and focusing on doing it right. i have already learned from my mistakes on the first SAS not to half **** things and take my time... i know it will pay off and the final product will be awesome!

finished the leaf swap today. welded on the hanger.

leafs installed and painted up.

swap came out pretty good. however i lost a little bit of height. as in only 3 inches of lift totalish in the rear.. so we will see how that turns out after the body lift is off... i have a couple pics of trucks that im modeling mine after..
maybe sometime a little like this..??
