Got it running! Stupid PATS system wont let it run for more than 2 seconds, but all of that will be taken care of on Tuesday when I finally get my tuning software. Here are a couple pix of the "almost complete" project and a very short teaser of the engine running...

That things sweet, sounds awesome to what are you running for exhaust?
Our school has two of those motors i got to take one apart and re assemble it then start it back up theres definatley alot to those motors lol. cams and timing mostly.

Sounded almost like open headers when you reved it up but maybe just very little exhaust lol.

Still got a couple bugs to work out with the wiring, but the hood is on and ill finish the exhaust in the morning:

actually, i have an f250 to put a transmission in before he gets here... which will be friday!

interesting intake setup you have... just wondering why you did that? looks like you had plenty of room to stop after the valve cover... its probably how the pics look thats throwing my eyes off.

I wanted to keep the filter in the fenderwell, the wiring was already on that side of the car for the maf, and the battery would have needed to be relocated to the other side if i wanted to switch sides with the intake. that was the easiest, cheapest route at the time...
