95 Ranger 2wd 3.0 auto
#29
worked on it a little more today on the interior. The previous owner had a cheap oil pressure gauge attached to the lower side of the radio bezel and no light. I am moving that to a steering column pod and adding a back-light. Got the dash apart, and someone broke/cut alot of the supports and Jerry-rigged it back together.
I am also modding the 60 seat down to a 40, have to do it in the truck, since one bolt is frozen in. Got halfway thru cutting the extra seat off, and my sawzall battery died. I also started sewing up a big tear in the fabric. Plan is just to get cheap seat covers untill I come across a good deal on buckets.
Also started painting my sporttrac's center console that I had leftover from my 4wd swap. I am painting it black and blue to match the ranger's interior (console was tan). Im using the duplicolor blue vinyl and fabric paint, its coming good so far, we will see how well it color matches when I am done.

Alignment time!
took 2 days doing it myself, working from 10-5 with plenty of stops to the store and work. Had to use the shop's torch on the big center bolts, ending up replacing both sides
So far I only have the front, haven't decided on what to do to rear (currently just flipped shackles). Installed Used DJM Beams and OEM splash coils. Currently the fronts are sitting on 235/55R17, but are getting swapped to newer 235/50R17 after the alignment. I have adjustable camber/caster bushings in it, so its going to be a fun drive to the shop, not even close to being straight!

picked up a "new" axle for it....
99 mounty 3.73 gears with ls
got it as seen for 100, missing hoses, brake lines and rotors, but calipers were included
I also picked up a OHC with bracket, full interior harness and temp sensor, lighted mirrors and a auto dimming mirror for another 50 bucks.
install picks will come in accouple weeks

My free cap
Yes, Im looking to sell it already ;D
60 days later and I finally did something with the axle, well started
Installed New rotors, calipers, pads, brake hoses, lines and diff cover
Removed the bed, had a little accident >:( stupid previous owner did a HORRIBLE repair job on the lower rear quarters
removed old axle with some last minute help of a friend
blasted the frame with some undercoating
That's as far as I got today, will have to work more in a week or so
