Nice find, Scott. It sounds like your state inspections are a bit less stringent then over here. Yet one more reason for me to dislike New Jersey.

Good luck with the truck.

worked on it a little more today on the interior. The previous owner had a cheap oil pressure gauge attached to the lower side of the radio bezel and no light. I am moving that to a steering column pod and adding a back-light. Got the dash apart, and someone broke/cut alot of the supports and Jerry-rigged it back together.

I am also modding the 60 seat down to a 40, have to do it in the truck, since one bolt is frozen in. Got halfway thru cutting the extra seat off, and my sawzall battery died. I also started sewing up a big tear in the fabric. Plan is just to get cheap seat covers untill I come across a good deal on buckets.

Also started painting my sporttrac's center console that I had leftover from my 4wd swap. I am painting it black and blue to match the ranger's interior (console was tan). Im using the duplicolor blue vinyl and fabric paint, its coming good so far, we will see how well it color matches when I am done.

got the gauge in and the center console mostly in. Still have to wire in the light. Also found out that Duplicolor Blue interior is wayyyy tooo blue compared to stock.

Alignment time!

took 2 days doing it myself, working from 10-5 with plenty of stops to the store and work. Had to use the shop's torch on the big center bolts, ending up replacing both sides

So far I only have the front, haven't decided on what to do to rear (currently just flipped shackles). Installed Used DJM Beams and OEM splash coils. Currently the fronts are sitting on 235/55R17, but are getting swapped to newer 235/50R17 after the alignment. I have adjustable camber/caster bushings in it, so its going to be a fun drive to the shop, not even close to being straight!
