DangerRanger01: Project "Little Black Edge"

So, Shane has convinced me to finally make a project log. i'll just post some stuff in here about what all i am doing to my truck. I'll start with the begining.

Here is the truck like i bought it from my dad:

Size: 300.9 KB
Name: P8130057.jpg
Views: 846
Size: 279.6 KB
Name: P8130058.jpg
Views: 698
Size: 252.3 KB

Much too high for me. So I decided I should lower it. DJM 4/5 FTW.

Shane and I started it at 7pm when i got home from work, and burned the midnight oil:

Size: 146.4 KB
Name: P8140064.jpg
Views: 647
Size: 159.8 KB

And its lowered!!!
Name: P8150068.jpg
Views: 699
Size: 243.4 KB

Scored some Cobra wheels off craigslist:
Name: P9150086.jpg
Views: 2362
Size: 229.1 KB
Name: P9150082.jpg
Views: 655
Size: 212.9 KB

Just some nice pictures of mine and my brother's trucks:

Size: 177.6 KB
Name: P9150088.jpg
Views: 699
Size: 177.2 KB

Got dogged too much for the Waag bar, so i took it off and threw it away! If no one liked it, no one was going to get it:
Name: P1010014.jpg
Views: 628
Size: 244.9 KB

Put in some Edge seats...so comfy

And a sub! 10in Thunderform is enough for me:
Name: P1010020.jpg
Views: 621
Size: 145.7 KB

Scored a Mazda gauge cluster off a member here....still need to put in:
Name: P4120051.jpg
Views: 642
Size: 187.2 KB

And Shane scored some better door panels still need to put in:
Name: P6020118.jpg
Views: 611
Size: 111.3 KB

Nice picture of the truck when i started school this year:
Name: Recent.jpg
Views: 1209
Size: 98.9 KB

Finally found a good hood black already. So i threw that on:

Put on some PowerStop breaks and upgraded pads. Very nice mod!
Name: P1010130.jpg
Views: 627
Size: 86.0 KB

I bought my brothers old 8.8 rear end to upgrade mine. I though while I'm at it, might as well put disc brakes on it. Did the 12inch vented cobra disc brake mod. Going to add a traction lok and paint it up once summer time comes:
Name: P1010068.jpg
Views: 703
Size: 148.4 KB
Name: P1010067.jpg
Views: 769
Size: 165.9 KB

Mmmm, i'm sure there is more stuff. I am also sure Shane has more pictures, lol. I KNOW more stuff will get done this summer when i can actually wrench on it....dam college consumes my life. I've just got to find a black edge bumper...or get the bumper i've already bought painted...the search continues!

Update:
Primer-ed up my axle for kicks. It's going to go to my gear guy to get a traction lok installed...once i order it:
Name: P1010089.jpg
Views: 632
Size: 160.5 KB

Name: P1010091.jpg
Views: 641
Size: 162.7 KB

Then i went to the junkyard and scored a BII rear sway bar. Actually, i got TWO bars....so I'll put one up for sale:
Name: P1010092.jpg
Views: 647
Size: 283.3 KB
Name: P1010094.jpg
Views: 611
Size: 270.9 KB

And while at the junkyard, i got another tailgate for the stepside. I figure I'll shave this one complete; handle and emblems. Just in-case i want to go that route. It is in pretty nice shape, only a little dent above the handle:
Name: P1010098.jpg
Views: 622
Size: 131.8 KB

And the stepside bed as she sits until i can get working on it:
Name: P1010099.jpg
Views: 1369
Size: 198.1 KB

And the truck as she sits today:

Size: 149.3 KB

Grant...correction....pics posted under 'what it looked like when I bought it from my dad' are incorrect...you bought with those ugly corners I bought for it, no waag bar, those ugly flag mirrors, and no toolbox. NOOB! Get it right!

lol!

Good to finally find this thread. Good work lil bro. My truck was such a baby back then!!

oh...side note....I REALLLLY need to teach you how to take pics!!

What is stock size tires? 275/55/15??? What stock is.

It rubbed mostly on bumps, tight turns....it wasnt horrible, but i wouldn't run it that big.
