My wheels are mounted and balanced... put them on tonight too dark for pics... need to order a spacer set for the front... wheels are too little to fit around the hub without them... only needed about half an inch.... pics in the AM....

How's it coming along Nick? Got the drop done?

On my little bro's truck, we used longer studs and 7/16" spacers to fit the stang wheels. You'll probably have to do something similar.

Like John said its because it is a sportier look... Thing is I cannot find any tailights for the mazda bed that i like. yet... so still stuck with the stock ones... I forgot the pics this morning and am at work till tomorrow morning i will be doing the drop tomorrow so... I'll take before and afters... along with shots during install for hopefully a nice write up...

oh shoot...that's right...i've never seen any aftermarket tails for the mazda bed.

Here's an idea that you might like to change up those current tails.....

I am thinking of just leaving the stick in for now until i get enough money to do a full custom rear end and then i will shave them off and get nice rear lights...

truck on stands. jack under lower arm. pop tie rod out, but keep in spindle w/ nun to help keep stuff from moving on ya. 4lb sledge to the hammer spot on the spindle....just below where the bolt/nut is to hold the upper joint in to spinle. might need to possibly spray on some wd40/pb blaster/tc11 to help loosen up the rust between the joint and spindle.

But...glad you got 'er all figured out.

I was actually reading how to do this the other night on my 94' tails.
I seen it done with transparent candy apple red model car paint (Testors) and it looks just as good. Plus its only like 3 bucks a can, a small can, but you dont need much.

The wheels look nice, but they need to be moved up into the fender a bit.

The drop really isn't that bad. I did it by myself with hand tools in 7 hours.

My little trick, though sorta unsafe...

jack under the lca...and the jack is actually jacking the entire truck up. wd/pb whatever on top, on bottom. beat the living snot out of the spindle under the upper joint bolt spot where there's that flat spot built for a hammer. Don't forget to keep the castle nut partially on the ball joint so the spindle won't just drop the eff out. lol.

on cory's superlift install...busting his lowers off were one pain the butt....and it's an '07! the master stepped in(me), and i got 'em off. lol.

i find a pickle fork is just too narrow for the ranger.
