Update....

So I called Glassworks to find out what is going on, they called shipping carrier and said that they have been trying to get hold of me to deliver them. Well my contact number was inputed wrong on the shipping manifest and they never attempted to deliver the fenders. I was told that glassworks is going to find out information about how i get my fenders if it is to pick them up or have them deliver them. Gawd this is so much bull$hit i have to go throught because people mess up, now i can't get ahold of glassworks again! I'm being patient as I can with this process it just sucks!

Well got a message from glassworks and called them back, and they said that the fenders when to SAC because the label came off or the driver thought that everything was going to SAC. I have nothing against Glassworks and just have been frustrated because I don't know whats going on. I hope to get them today or tommorrow at the latest. But now I know where there at and whats going on.

While waiting for my fenders and being bored I decided to make use for my amber corners. Had some extra black rust-o-leum semi flat black paint and took apart the corners. I think it turned out pretty good. I'm def going to do this to my 06 corners when I get my truck back.

At last the Fenders Arrive.

Well got the fenders in Finally and they look pretty good, nothing wrong with them. I'm going to take pics of the truck when I take these fenders up Monday to the body shop.

make your own bumper to fit the glass correctly, and you can make your own design of it

How do you think it should be? I don't know how to weld yet and don't have a welder. One of my friends knows how to weld but dosn't have alot of time because he works lots of hours.

oh and heads up before you put the fenders on, cut the front part off, the 5 inch by 3 inch little tab that hangs down...it looks hideous on there if your getting a tube bumper. icut mine off a day ago and it looks way better!

see what i mean???

the DBR bumper is a bit overpriced...
if you look at other rangers with prerunner bumpers you can get a idea on what kind you, i wouldnt buy a generic premade bumper, or someone elses bumper not designed for your truck with that glass... but thats what i think, im sure someone in your area is a garage fabber and does prerunner bumpers, or even a shop up there.

and about cutting the mount for the fiberglass, i cut mine, but i also added a mount to where it bends in, to keep it sturdy and not alot of vibrations

the way i saw it, that mounting point didnt need to be there, cause theres two spots behind the side marker bulbs.

i missed this build completely, how don’t know; I already spend too much reading on this site and making lists of stuff to do to the ranger, once the lift is in.

FRXLT, your truck is looking really nice, not much else to say.

A couple of questions about the seats.
What is your height ?
How do you fit in the Ranger after the Ex/SportTrac Seats were installed ?
Any thoughts on how the install went ?

Thanks,
