Lowered life aint for me
Alright been almost a year since ive been on just now got the money right. Been driving my truck around as a daily for awhile now. It currentyl has a two three drop with 18 in. saleen rims turns out lowered trucks=pain in the @#$! and its just not me oh well I tried so up the old girl goes.
This is how the truck is sitting right now. Sorry about pic quality a new camera is soon to come for the rest of the transformation.

and the boring interior soon to be completly different

For some reason the body mounts will not break lose i used so much pb blaster a whole pack of cigs and a few temper tantrums and still cant get em off. I am a machinists so I was planning on building a body lift at work tomorrow. Gotta go pick up the offroad rims sittin on 30s tomorrow night. Also got new springs and shocks all the way around. A couple KN goodies and an oil change so she will run half decent again.
Air tools? i've gotten them off with that before. I had a buddy i helped lower his 97. just used a 3/8 drive Ratchet.
air tools I wish ) : I didnt expect these mounts to be so tough I just need one off so I know how long my bolts need to be found some nylatron at work today thats what ill make the body lift out of ill post pics off em tommorow night only going an inch up though seeing how its a two wheel drive that might change soon though rolled 4x4 arent to uncommon on cg.
Air tools and heat will get it. Plus on the back cab bolt you will need someone to hold it still with something otherwise it'll just spin.
If you were closer I'd try and get a few of the former locals here to help put the body lift on.

You need the dream beams to get a proper alignment. Just running drop springs is the problem.
Ive been thinking about this for awhile now and I just think this thing would look sick jacked up but ran into quite the snag tonight noticed axle grease on the back passenger rim turns out my spider gear broke glad I caught it just put a hold on the mud grips and rims
In the next couple weeks probably two of em have some scratching from running off the road when it was wet outside
