ran into a problem with the water pump install, the previouse oner broke the bolts off in the block behind the timing chain housing, so we were going to just thread the housing but it broke, stupid idea i know, so any way, we have to get a new one, put a new window in the passenger side door, I forgot to take pics, will post some soon
looks like a good project, 302's have a crap load of power, I drove a mustang with a 302 that was running on 7 cylinders(or less) and it still didn't hesitate to lay down some rubber on the pavement =] drank a lot of fuel though....

Here's the problem, I afore mentioned. probably can't see it but the bolts are broken off. sooo. I pulled off the pully just need to remove the harmoniuos balancer LOL. I don't have a puller so I got to get one.
well made a little progress today, got the balancer and the timming chain housing off with a puller I hijacked from my uncle, if you look close enough you cansee the two bolts that are broken, ones on the left and ones on the right. beside the timming chain,
sorry I deleted some pictures and forgot that it removes them from the site too. well Finnaly got the timing chain housing today, going to put it on tomorrow will post some pics when done.
well since I've been laid off I have done some work to my brothers truck, cleaned out the oil pan put new gaskets on it, and ran into another problem, one of the bolts were broke off in the block so I got to get a welder or something to weld a nut to it and take it out, I'll put some pics on here later

here are some more pics, of the truck and other stuff I've done so far.
the truck. I put a new oilpan gasket on the other day and also cleaned the block some with a wire brush, that's the reason for the flowery sheet. lol

that's right only 82,341.

twin sticks. lol

rear end pic very rusty/dirty lol

transfer case, pretty decent shape. needs a seal. looks like.

today I took off the front bumper to straighten it out, and clean up the rust.

primered, waiting on my brother to buy the black paint. lol.

well that's it for today.
