ran into a problem with the water pump install, the previouse oner broke the bolts off in the block behind the timing chain housing, so we were going to just thread the housing but it broke, stupid idea i know, so any way, we have to get a new one, put a new window in the passenger side door, I forgot to take pics, will post some soon

looks like a good project, 302's have a crap load of power, I drove a mustang with a 302 that was running on 7 cylinders(or less) and it still didn't hesitate to lay down some rubber on the pavement =] drank a lot of fuel though....

my Bronco I had had the same problem. The owner before me had rebuilt the motor but must have broke off one of the bolts going to the water pump/ timing cover. Leaked like hell, but I'm told by the new owner of it that some rtv did the job pretty well so far ha.

well made a little progress today, got the balancer and the timming chain housing off with a puller I hijacked from my uncle, if you look close enough you cansee the two bolts that are broken, ones on the left and ones on the right. beside the timming chain,

well since I've been laid off I have done some work to my brothers truck, cleaned out the oil pan put new gaskets on it, and ran into another problem, one of the bolts were broke off in the block so I got to get a welder or something to weld a nut to it and take it out, I'll put some pics on here later

what's funny is it has a sway bar in the rear, but not one in the front.
