i usually go to either mooresville or rockingham, but this truck isnt being set up for drag racing. This truck will be set up for road racing and drifting.

After some serious malfunctions with the sealer(the white stuff), I finally got the bed done! Took me 12 hours to get it prepped, re-sealed, and painted... I couldnt have asked for a better turnout!!!

I did a little shopping today as well:

MMMMMM!

Notice something missing???

Saying goodnight to it!

Thanks! I was actually talking about the fuel door. There will be steps going back on it to cover up the bolts.

Believe it or not, the stripes are silver! They look white in the pics for some reason. I got the purest silver I could find.

Well I feel dumb for not noticing the fuel door was gone. Guess that's what happens when it's 3am. Still looks great. Your truck has always been one of my favorites and this is just adding to how much I like it!

The first time i saw both of these colors, i fell in love. I told myself that one day my truck will be those colors. I didnt know what i was getting myself into when I ordered the two... For a good quality base coat, the blue retails for about 400 bucks a gallon and the silver isnt too far behind that!!!!! OUCH!!!

were there stake pockets before?

Color looks great. Based on previous pics I thought you were going black. It's nice to see a blue back on the truck.

No stake pockets. Im guessing the flare sides arent strong enough for that? Since the bed sides are fiberglass, i guess that makes sense... sense to me anyway! lol

Black is NOT a color i want on the exterior of any vehicle i own!!!

are you turning your truck into a gt 500 ranger? so far you've got the wheels, stripes, and a ridiculous engine :)

we already talked about this... I used a piece of plexi, some fiberglass jelly, mat, resin, more jelly, body filler, high build primer, sand, high build primer, sand, paint...

Actually, I never even thought about it that way. That does sound like a good scheme, but this time around, the only names on this truck will be ford and mine!

I moved the bed out of the paint booth tonight to make room for other parts to be painted... DANG! That bed looks even better under metal halide lights!!!! Its really unbelievable how much different the two blues are!
