Been so tied up with school its not even funny. After this week finals are over and I can finally finish her before she gets buried in snow.

The start of my new tranny Xmember all .25" wall

Coil buckets in, Welded and bolted cause C channel frames have a reputation for cracking welds when flexing.

Bud cut me out some tabs to move lower buckets forward a little, cause the coils were bowed a bit more than I was happy with

Waiting for my 1 ton steering from Ballistic to come. Still have to: ream knuckles, burn in track bar, run new brake lines, finish tranny x member and install the steering when it finally comes.

Theyre extdended about an inch and a half to clear the wrist, but thats the point of a wrist, You dont have to extend them which loses you some clearance and you get the flex that you do with extended.

Finally done! Drove her for the first time last night. Upgraded from working in my cold snowy driveway to my buddys heated barn. Trailered her there and banged the brakes out. Just need to trim the fenders, and get bumps and shocks in before shes ready for the trail.

Did great all day, out crawled most of the group. Then I went to bump up a really technical 2 ledge crawl with the ledges spaced horribly for my wheelbase and the truck hopped and when it came down BANG! **** C Clips, such a *****. Got a spare shaft in in the rain and wheeled out but it confirmed its time for tons already.

I really cant right now, as I have no idea when I will sell it, what I will keep/ what will be broken by then. Basically dont hold your breath. I'll probably run it all summer as I build up 1 ton stuff

Probably alot more then your rear axle can hold.
You dont have to be a dick i stated that the 8.8 was gonna blow up when you started. And you claimed it would be fine and what do you know it blew up which isnt suprising there weak axles get a 9 in or 14 bolt or d-70 or somthin then you can say that they will not blow out.
