Hello, I have started my Ranger 351w conversion. I started with a 1993 Ford Ranger XLT with a 3.0 v6. That engine is now removed. The engine I am preparing to install is a Rebuilt 82 351w with a RV cam. I am mating it to a C6 transmission. Pictures will follow this post just thought I'd get the start up and running so I can log the installation.

did you do anything to the 351?

is your 93 2wd or 4x4?

 

My truck is 2wd. The 351 is primarily stock, I added a 2000 stall converter. I'm switching out the rear axle for a 9 inch posi locked with 350 gears. I'll add photos later (when I figure out how). Found a 85 F150 as a donor for 400 bucks...that's helped out quite a bit. Any questions?
