Day 4 :
Scott made a valiant effort at trying to clean up that bumper.. But it was very laborious and still wasn't what I would paint. So.. Off to Daves to blast the bloody thing.
No Pics from Daves/FMD's place.
We did spend an hour or 3 trying to fix his garage door though.. Didn't happen. Brian wound up stopping at Daves and fixing the garage door. Must have been made by Nissan or something, just didn't work for Dave or I. ( Whats the world coming to when ranger folks are modding garage doors! )
Bumper and Vailience primed and waiting for paint.
Gague bezel is done.
primed and to be painted with her hood HOPEFULLY tomorrow if humidity and rain doesn't become a factor.

D. what kind of gun do you paint with? Been thinking about picking one up as I do want to paint my Ranger once I get the SAS done. I've looked at the Matco HVLP ones and for $160 a piece they don't seem too bad, but doesn't look like the heads are interchangeable.
Anyone figured I'd ask cause it looks like your stuff is coming out pretty well.

The only thing that might be missing is that drivers side vent. I need to check the boneyards on my way home from work tomorrow. Something should be available.
The only thing she MIGHT get miffed about.. all her personal stuff going into a box and sitting in her passengers seat.

Do you have an old/unused LOC laying around I might be able to snag off you?

It is ' Oxford white '. It looks VERY close to factory. I just sprayed the first coat about 10 minutes ago. Its a base, then clear over it. From what it looks like right now.. its a matte Oxford White.
Once the clear goes on, I believe it will be a PERFECT match.
The only thing I don't get is unlike sonic blue, this reduces 1:1 instead of 4:1. Its taking 4 times the amount of reducer as a paint that is both pearlescent and metallic.. I don't understand it, but it looks awesome!
