i may have pissed off everyone at school, in all 3 classes.. but that air hammer definitely made it a TON easier. if you can get it between the frame and bracket it peels off flush. just hit it with a flapper to make it pretty.. for us atleast haha
dunno if it'll work on the inside as well but its worth a shot. If you were closer i would bring my torch over.
in the mean time i've found a use for the exposed metal where the pass. air bag was, its time for my truck to have a proper "oh-sh*t" grab bar ha
edit, thats not thick enough for that use.

zach, you can also get a tall jack like that from Harbor Freight... I've had one for a couple years and no probs... also, only about $150
- Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices
they also have stronger steel ones

I don't think I'll be doing that, its not really necessary and I'm not doing this for the presentation.

Updates! Got the crossmember cut out, still need to do a lot of grinding to clean up the frame. Figured I'd throw the axle under there for a test fit though, slowly gettin there lol. Still gotta find a damn allen wrench to get the superlift shaft off, guess I lost that tool somewhere in my last move.

That might be awhile. I don't think the wife is gonna let me spend any more money lol.
Got one more update for the weekend. Had a friend come over and help me clean the frame. All the brackets are completely gone!
