but radius arms suck a big one.. never understood why till i paid attention to a bronco and my buddies Jeep a few weeks ago.. violent wheel shake is no bueno.
I'll hold off for now until i can do a 3 link. or find a new project.. until then i'll just ride my bump stops lol

Got the steering shaft made and bled the steering system. Dont tell anyone but I made the steering shaft the weak way, mating the ranger shaft straight to the toyota shaft. I made sure not to destroy any parts of the shaft I can use later because as soon as I can get the intermediate shaft that I need I'll order the pillow block bearing and get the shaft made......the right way. I'm aware that its not the best way to do it and that several ppl have had them break but I'm going to change it ASAP, I just wanted to get everything functional. I still have to bleed the brakes and torque all the bolts and paint all the raw areas but its almost driveable now.......

Here. I cut the ranger shaft right before the double cardan joint at the rack and pinion, theres a fat end part thing there. Not sure how to describe it, although I'm sure you'll know what I'm talking about if you've ever looked at that part of the shaft. I cut the yota shaft right before that hollow metal part so I could weld to the solid part of the yota shaft. Not ideal, but it will get the job done temporarily.

Thanks. I can't wait to see it going in person either.
As it sits right now the truck is done except for bleeding the brakes. My Dad is gonna come over and give me hand tomorrow night and when thats done I should be able to pull the truck out.

I'll check that too. I tightened it all down but I may not have gotten it tight enough. As soon as I have someone here to turn the wheel while I look I'm sure I'll have a better idea of what exactly it is.
Thanks.
