SAS for Clifford
For the time being I'm going to run it without cutting the Cs. If it is bad then the Cs will cut and adjusted. For now I just want it done. I think this build has hit too many snags. The day before Thanksgiving the guy doing the fab work finds out his wife is divorcing him. So Thanksgiving until Monday he has been moving. I'll be down there Thursday and we'll see how much is done. The axle should be about ready to go under or already be under and brackets being welded up.
Slowly but it is progress. When I stopped by today has was making the shackles. Saturday he has a huge BBQ for all of his customers and friends and he said the truck should be sitting on its own weight. I really like the wheels I picked out.

I got a text from John with two pictures to follow. Here is a teaser. He is havign a huge BBQ tomorrow at his shop (annual thing) so I will try to remember to take some pictures.

love it. can you buy chance explain your reasoning why your static hanger is in there rear. not saying its bad, jeep has done for a while... well did til the tj came around.

The factory Waggys were set up from the factory with the shackle in the front. I think I read something and my fab guy recommended that it could help a bit with the geometry with the pinion angle I think it was. Either way it seems like the shackle under the cab or up front it doesn't matter much. Also, if the front is flexing the axle will push forward instead of back. I have a little more room to flex forward then back. Especially since I will probably have to trim a bit. I don't want to trim too much towards the cab. The axle is moved forward about 1.5"-2" already. I'm not an expert or anything, but this is my thinking and from what I have read.
As far as steering goes my fab guy is working on something. If I don't like whatever he does then I will be doing what everybody else does.
Beard, I didn't measure anything. That is what he told me.
I'll update this thread later tonight with pictures.

Here are some pics from tonight. I have 6" Skyjacker lift springs in the rear. I also have a Belltech shackle that will be installed as the front is higher than the rear.

Some bonus pictures from his BBQ tonight. There are plenty of crazy Jeep guys.
