Yeah I figured it would be bad. I need my rear inner fender chopped and put on too. I'm hoping not to ever have to ride mine in the water, but I better be prepared for the worst. If I do put my front back on I'll chop it down too. I gota order a nice tailight and rear signals and make a license plate mount too.

Got some more work done again to the bike finally. Its basically done just a few things here and there, and I still might paint it at some point.

Got my new fuse box in, fuel filter, seat attached, fender shaved and mounted, And also made my license plate mount and brake light put on. I started with the red light but it wasnt what I wanted and then got another LED tailight that works great and has the license plate light built in. Still need to make my final bars and paint them black too.

Looks good!

What are the legalities of how you've mounted your tag? In FL the tag must be mounted horizontally, not vertically. Just wondering if it's the same in MN.

Nice man, you've made me start looking on CL for a bike like this. I'd love a little project to mess around with.

ive seen it done on a few bikes here. im not sure on the law, but I cant really mount it horizontal in any good way. Yeah I think my next bars I make are just going to be drag style. Yeah craigslist for sure, thats how I scooped up this baby for $200!

Are you kidding me, damn. The ones around here for under 500 are all just part bikes. I'm sure one will pop up sooner or later though

I think your bike would look real good with that seat but black. Whatever happened to that seat you posted up earlier in the thread I think that one would look good to.

thanks guys! yeah the raw flap discd tank and fender grew on me. I wana do a springer seat too, but not until I go hardtail, need the frame to drop down and be rigid to look right. someday maybe, but I'd like to get another and do it to that. Yep I got the title with mine too.
