Well I got my lift on last night. It wasn't very fun lol. Just so everyone knows. If you're using a ball joint press to pull up the key you can't do the passenger side without jacking the exhaust up so you can get under it.

I'll get better comparison pics later

Well unfortunately the rim and tire is my buddys spare on him jeep or else id love to have them.

Here is what i did today.
Bought 40 feet of black pipe.
started front tube bumper project.

Mind you I am 17 so Im inexperienced but hey I have fun doing it.

Let my buddy weld for his first time. He didnt do too bad.

And this is how she sits for the night. I need some sheet metal and another day and she will be done. Should have made it bolt on but oh well its strong for what it is.

Any reason why you didnt cut off the bumper mounting bracket/crossmember and start from scratch there?

Here she is. I took off the hoop and then sprayed bed liner over it. It doesn't look to bad but I'm still gonna build a new one when I go back to school.

Well I got tired of the big speaker box for my subs in the ext. cab taking up all the room.

I decided, Hey why not build boxes where the jump seats are! Best idea and mod ever!!!

Went and bought some particle board (because im cheap) and camoflauge carpet from walmart.

First came the speaker box. Looked awesome.
null_zps1e5ae436.jpg?t=1373168685

Next i thought. Why not add some green Leds.
null_zps56c7db45.jpg?t=1373168506

Then I thought well I dont like how exposed the amp is. So...
null_zpsd212515e.jpg?t=1373168559

And the finished product in the dark with lights.
null_zps896134fc.jpg?t=1373168606

Im thinking of adding 6"x9"s to the amp cover to make it look more useful. Im getting more green LEDS for the footwells.

Lastly I got my expo axle stripped of all the mounts. my dad screwed up alittle and put a pin hole in the tube. Just gonna weld it up and call it a day. ill get pics when im grinding it down to flip the spring mounts.

Well I got some bad news. The wheel bearing on the passenger side went out. happen to the driver side a few months back. Im taking my T-bars back down and making it just a leveling kit and will eventually buy a body lift.

Got it all welded and cleaned up. I stacked my weld so if it breaks chuck norris was the cause.

null_zps3d7deb26.jpg?t=1374463033

I will get more later but I really like it. Im depating on doing the headliner and that stuff black too. Im also gonna do the radio bezel and door handle pieces in truck bed liner eventually.

I also found these browning emblems and thought they were sweet so...

Well I finally got around to putting my 8.8 in.

Heres the old axle pulled out.

and I got the new one put in.

[IMG][/IMG]

Ended up having to run all new brake lines to the rear. It was my first experience with brake line. I learned a good bit and it wasnt hard at all.

I still need to get the E-Brake hooked up but that will wait till another day.
