Just seems like from a pinion travel stand point you want them closer in length. Specially if your going to be pulling a lot of travel because the pinion will rotate a lot through out.

i dont know what to make of it but i plugged the numbers in, i still need my weight numbers though.

Why so short on the upper link compared to the lowers?

The upper links can be slightly longer or shorter than 0.7 (70 percent) of the lower links, but try not to pass 0.6 (60 percent) or 0.8 (80 percent).

Hey Zack to bad you don't have enough room to go with high clearance arms like these.

XeRo 11-08-2008 04:17 PM

Why wouldn't he have enough room?

casfz1 11-08-2008 04:19 PM

Because I believe were his arms are going to be the tcase and the exhaust will be in the way.

XeRo 11-08-2008 04:42 PM

Ah, Zach...are you closer to the Ohio border or Illinois? Where in the state are you.

zabeard 11-08-2008 07:39 PM

I am 1 hour from Ohio.

Chad that would be cool but talk about complicating the project!!!

XeRo 11-08-2008 08:32 PM

hmmm...I might need to stop by one weekend I'm super bored. AFTER the 5.0 of course.

casfz1 11-08-2008 08:34 PM

come on I know you like a change.http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/mi...smiley-064.gif

zabeard 11-08-2008 09:34 PM

haha yeah screw that, this is enough of a challenge!

Gearhead61 11-08-2008 10:16 PM

adding bends to the link would add some serious stress concentration factors. You would have to really overbuild them to keep them from bending!

INT3RC3PTOR 11-09-2008 02:56 AM

just use some wooden dowels, that'll work!

stRanger 11-09-2008 06:13 AM

Someone want to decipher all that?

well for a reari know most want the anti squat to be just above 100%. Mine is way past that but i dont know how that works on a front end. i mean its not gonna squat when you hammer on it.

INT3RC3PTOR 11-09-2008 12:24 PM

let it squat a bunch, maybe it will pull a wheelie!

Im pretty sure its supposed to be around that in the front too.

zabeard 11-09-2008 05:39 PM

well if that is the case 90% of the rigs with passenger side 3 link are not achieving it. no way they are. i know what numbers effect it and just looking at the setups i cant see them getting the right numbers

Ranger00 11-09-2008 05:48 PM

zack what kind of notcher is that and where did you get it?

zabeard 11-09-2008 05:53 PM
