picked up some saws-all blades.

picked up some
2" DOM about 24" long, .120 wall
1.5 DOM about 21' long, .120 wall
4" wide strap about 10' long, 1/4" thick
ordered a 11/16"-18 right handed tap as well.
my new pitman arm, the tapper was too big so it is being welded full and retappered tonight.

ive got a sketch with some measurements of the arc i want in the tube, also cut some plates out of the strap that i will use for gusseting the shock/coil hoop.


i think that is about all i need, planning on cutting everything Friday.

 

everything keeps going against me this week.

Sunday is all booked up.

And my buddy who said he would bend the hoops for me just said he couldn't do it till Saturday morning and ive been telling him that i want to bend the tube for over 2 months!!! arg.

I cant seem to find anyone that has a mandrel bender around so looks like i will be waiting another day before i can start. he said he can bend it Saturday... this just messes with my head so much. man im pissed day ruined... lol

 

your lucky your just have a day... my arms are on backorder.. im now a couple weeks behind.. so far for this week i have 42 hrs in at work.. im not in the mood to work on the truck either

When do you think it will be done? A Couple weekends? Just trying to make some time for ya cuz I can not see you doing this alone. I can help during the week monday and tuesday if you are going to take work off.
