I've got an 07 sport 4x4 3.0 auto that I just completely built from the frame up. Long story short, a powersteering hose failed and sprayed onto the driver side exhaust manifold causing a pretty decent engine bay fire. A decent amount of the engine harness as well as the body harness going to the ecu was subject to the fire. I'm looking for a cheap donor truck that has been in a wreck or has rust damage to swap all needed parts into. I cant seem to find information on what wiring harness's from what year ranger will work if at all.

Engine wiring harness should be the same 2004-2008(last year for 3.0l in Rangers)

Body harness(fuse box, lights, horn, ect....) will be based on model, i.e. Sport in this case, Models have "available options" so have a body wiring harness base on that

I would get a Ford 2007 Ranger EVTM(electric vacuum troubleshooting manual), it lists EVERY WIRE and whats it for and where it is, and any changes that year
EVTM was part of the Ford Shop Manual set, but often sold separately, online

In the few body wiring diagrams I have for the 2006-2008, the 2007 and 2008 seem to match up, but the 2006 doesn't, same connections but different wire colors are used
So best guess is 2007 or 2008 are what you want
