bigger avatar

how come i have a small avatar, and most other people on the site have really big ones? is it based on post #s?

Ranks here are based on posts. You are Stage I, I am stage II, and others are Stage III's. It's all about progressive post counts.

In order to get a bigger avatar, it is a "privelage" of a contributing member to the site, amongst other things.

Simply put, the bigger avatars are available to those who contribute to the site. Doesn't make them any more special than the non-contributing user, it's just a perk. I have no problems with banning a contributor to the site if they act up, same as I do a non-contributor..

Not real sure I see what all the fuss is, but then again, I maintain a neutral outlook on damn near everything.

Also, the ranks are based on posts as well. I don't remember what posts equal what level, as that's never been a big concern of mine.

I agree with the avatars not being an issue at all. If you donate you donate. if you don't you don't no big deal.

Note to self:
Need to find a job to have money to donate so I can be like all the cool kids.
